Tents and Deaths Scrolls
Hints:
- In 1797 the captain, the quartermaster, the surgeon, a seaman and the powder monkey are in camp. You have met the powder monkey before, and players of the first game know Ada Baker.
- In 1927 you can place most tents by what is inside: cigarette brands you have already seen, or Myrtle’s animal studies.
- One tent in 1797 is shared. The lowest-ranked person gets the worst spot.
- Lack of oxygen can kill in several ways: the lungs cannot breathe, the oxygen cannot reach the blood, the heart stops moving the blood, or the cells cannot use it. Match each victim to one.
- Mosquito diseases do not pass from person to person.
- The two blue-skinned dead were acting strangely before they died, with rituals, talk of a witch and runes cut into a hand. Something affected their minds.
- The mushrooms here only cause nausea. They did not kill anyone.
- Check for nerve agent symptoms first. If they are missing, compare the blood agents instead.

Events Scroll
Hints:
- Find the cause of each death before you work out how and why it happened.
- The captain’s journal promises a cruel punishment for whoever fell asleep on watch.
- Two people smoked by the rocks. The hidden whiskey may be theirs.
- The 1797 medical kit holds red, white and yellow liquids, and there is a wet red brush beside it.
- Each 1927 tent holds one possible poison. Spilsbury shows no nerve agent signs, so the mushrooms by his body may be a distraction.
- Ada has a fever and red spots, but none of the other signs of either tropical disease.
