Rise of the Golden Idol: Fruits of Disobedience Walkthrough

Scenario 1: A Tragic Occurrence in an Ancient Orchard

Words:

  • Person aiming a laser at a tree: Child, Range, Spouse, Tanis
  • Spotted robe: Was Behind, Raska
  • Technological abuse report: Tanska, Fused, Remove
  • Person on the left: Luram
  • Note on him: Yelda, Sibling, Lurvel, Parent, Nephew, Nada
  • Person on the right: Child, Killed, Veridola
  • Blonde interviewee: Grandparent
  • Interviews on the right: A Spitefruit, Lomori, Uncle, Aunt, Yelda, Child

Indoor facility

  • Harvest day assignments: A Glutfruit, Ethem, Tanis, A Spitefruit, Nada, Lomori, Raska, A Baitfruit, Luram, Vel
  • Safety charter: Harvester, Neck, Extend, Extender, Tine, Ferrule, Transmitter, Grip, Safeguard
  • Red-haired interviewee: Accident
  • Sentinel on the left: Modified, Was Inside, Spitefruit, Orchard, Child
  • Calendar: Luram, Lurvel, Glutfruit, Tanska, Orchard, Plant

Fruits, Family and Harvester Scrolls

Hints:

  • Everyone being questioned wears a Veridola. Green text is true and purple text is false. That alone settles several family links.
  • One fruit is named outright. The charter says which fruit needs a harvester with a long neck, so a long-necked harvester tells you which orchard you are in.
  • A tine is a prong and a ferrule joins two parts together. Watch a harvester in use to see where it is held.
  • A safeguard approved by the Sentinels carries their mark. The symbols on the fruit bins match harvester parts.
  • Lemurian married names take the first syllable of one partner’s name and the second of the other’s. Try it on Tanis and Raska, and on Luram and Vel.
  • Not every family member works in the orchard. One name points to a spouse you never see.
  • The fused remains in the bin have yellow gloves but no feet. Look elsewhere for the rest.

Orchards, Names and Events Scrolls

Hints:

  • The harvest assignments place everyone. Once you know a name you know the orchard, and the other way round.
  • The grandmother only vouches for herself and her own children.
  • Nada wanted his brother’s family disinherited. That gave the victim’s family every reason to work as hard as possible.
  • A normal harvester only reaches about a hand’s length. The one in the river has been changed. Check which fruit it is set to.
  • The victim’s yellow boots are behind a melted tree. The person using the harvester may never have seen him. Work out where they were standing.
