Complete Unforeseen Maintenance in Servant of the Lake by repairing everything William broke around the house.
Servant of the Lake: Unforeseen Maintenance Walkthrough
The entrance looks a little different this afternoon. There’s a huge cross over Aldous’s face, and a plank of wood on the table below the portrait. Take this Part of the Chair first, then go into the stove room on the left.
Rustie is hiding under the table, scared. Click him until he spits up the Sticky Substance again.
Hidden achievement (Checking the Furniture): Click the planks on the table leg to the left. Take out the letter and read it.
Click the Stove and take the Statue Head. Back out and use the Sticky Substance on the portrait of Aldous.
Go forward into the next room and take the Part of Chair from the pink chair. Use the Sticky Substance on the portrait of Alexandra.
Check the alcove to the left of the chair to find the maid. She tells you to go to the Servant’s Room (the room with the Stove).
First, take the door on the right and pick up the Stove Cover from the floor. Then use the Sticky Substance on the painting to the right of the Statue.
Next, click the Statue. Put the Sticky Substance on it, then add the Statue’s Head.
Take the corridor on the left and pick up the Balcony Piece. If you open the window on the right, you’ll see William outside, shouting.
Go back to the Servant’s Room and talk to the maid. She asks you to repair the chair. Use the Parts of Chair and the Sticky Substance to put it back together. If you talk to her again, she says there’s more repairing to be done.
Put the Stove Cover back on the Stove, then back out and continue into the next room.
Look up at William’s portrait to see the missing part of the balcony. Put the piece back, then talk to the maid again.
She says you need to go to the kitchen to prepare dinner. Leave the Servant’s Room, go forward, then right. The door next to the statue is now open. Go in to finish the first task of the afternoon.
