Complete Preparing Breakfast in Servant of the Lake by cooking Mr. Aldous’s porridge on the first morning.
Servant of the Lake: Preparing Breakfast Walkthrough
This task starts in the hallway after the maid walks off. Go through the left door and click the note on the table.
The note names Mr. Aldous’s favorite breakfast and explains how to make it:
- Put the pot on the stove
- Add milk to the pot
- Add oats to the pot
- Heat the porridge
Leave the stove room and return to the hallway. Take the door straight ahead. Rustie, the orange cat, is sitting on a pink chair.
Go through the door to the right of the cat. The maid is cleaning in there, and a crate sits behind her near the stairs.
Click the crate and take the Bottle of Milk. Then climb the stairs to the right of the maid. Aldous Vanderboom’s bedroom door is on the left and a cabinet is on the right.
Click the cabinet. Open the lower doors to find a Dead Mouse and take it, then grab the Small Pot from the top.
Head downstairs and go back to the cat in the hallway.
Hidden achievement (Feeding the Cat): Click the cat and drag the Bottle of Milk onto it. Do this before you give it the Dead Mouse.
Give the cat the Dead Mouse, then click Rustie. The cat runs off and leaves Matches behind. Return to the stove room.
Click the table and take the Oats. Pick up the Wood from the chair. Click the stove on the right, set the Small Pot on top, and open the door at the bottom.
Put the Wood in the stove and light it with the Matches. Add the Milk to the Small Pot, then the Oats. Click the pot to get a Small Pot with Porridge.
Go back to the hallway and talk to the maid. She sends you on to the next task, waking up Mr. Aldous. Climb the stairs on her right again and click the bedroom door.
