Hints and Solutions for All Chapters in The Rise of the Golden Idol.

Some new things to note:

The game is now more user-friendly: clicking on relevant items automatically adds words to your phrase book. A counter for phrases and points of interest helps you keep track of what you may have missed.
A new feature is the chapter scroll, which connects all cases within a chapter. This scroll recaps events and encourages you to use new evidence to form fresh conclusions, leading to both a chapter scroll and a final chapter conclusion scroll.
The cases are more interconnected than in the previous game. If a piece of evidence doesn’t seem useful in your current case, it might actually be needed for the chapter scroll or a future case. If you’re struggling with a case, reviewing evidence from past cases may reveal new connections.
Unlike the previous game’s chronological order, the cases now unfold in a mixed sequence—Case 2 takes place before Case 1, and Case 4 happens before the entire first chapter. Pay close attention to the dates.
This game is more open-ended, offering multiple paths to reach the same conclusion compared to the first.

What type of facility keeps people in straitjackets?
We have a list of names and coordinating cells. We can figure out who the killer is by figuring out which cell the murder is occuring in
If we look down the hall, we can see that odd numbered cells are on the left and even numbered are on the right
If the murder scene is opposite cell 201, then it must be in cell 202.
