Day 8 of Strange Antiquities unlocks the hidden cupboard, the curses booklet and the Catacombs map. This guide solves the sunset tower Clue Card and every request, including Bonnie Robertson’s choice.
Strange Antiquities: Day 8 Walkthrough
Day 8, Thursday
Locations to visit:
- Gleaston Castle, the tower closest to the sunset: two objects and half of a note
Clue Card
Hints:
- The card says the object is closest to the sunset and furthest from the sunrise.
- The sun sets in the west. The picture is a tower, so use the Gleaston Castle map, not Galfrey’s Tower.
- North points to the bottom of the castle map, so west is on the right. There are two towers on the right.
Click the tower marked with a symbol at the lower right of the castle map. You get two objects and half of a note. Keep the note: you find the other half on Day 13.

Customer 1: Francesca Robertson
Francesca describes wooden totems but does not know the name. The only object with “totem” in its name is the Selenic Totem. Give it to her.
Customer 2: Verona Green
Hints:
- Verona wants a Tenebran Cloak. It creates a sphere of darkness.
- It has a single stone set in bronze.
- Look for a stone statue of a woman with crescent moons on the sides of her headdress.
Give Verona the statue. Colour and Composition shows a pinkish stone set in bronze, and Gemstones calls it Moonstone, a stone of enveloping night. You get the book entry for St. Cedric’s Thunder.
Customer 3: Barton Potter
Barton first passes on a message from Eli: a booklet on curses is hidden in a cupboard in the counter. To open it:
- Turn the small wheel next to the Holgen Grimm to raise a hidden cupboard.
- Try the mechanism Angus gave you on Day 7. It does not fit, because the cupboard has indentations.
- Inspect the mechanism and press the petals that match the indentations: the third, fifth, sixth and seventh.
- Insert the mechanism to unlock the cupboard.
You get a new object, the booklet on curses and the Burning Blood achievement. Turn the wheel again to lower the cupboard so you can see the shelves behind it.
Hints:
- Barton also wants a Valent. Its holes are about the same size and evenly spaced.
- A strange pulse can be felt where its power gathers.
- Check the left middle shelf for an object with three diamond-shaped holes.
Give Barton the object with three diamond-shaped holes. A Sense of Touch on its tip shows it vibrates with energy. In return you get the map of the Catacombs, a third area to explore.
Customer 4: Bonnie Robertson
Bonnie asks for either Grey’s Grace or Corvan’s Might. This choice matters for an achievement: give her Grey’s Grace. Identify both first.
- Corvan’s Might: also called an Eagle’s Gift, it is an assassin’s tool that uses Wyxic power. Find the talons holding a large black stone streaked with red. Gemstones names it Bloodstone, a Wyxic stone used for dark purposes.
- Grey’s Grace: a pendant that lifts melancholy and shares the shadow-catcher design. The index leads to the Shadow Hold entry, which shows that design. On the left shelves, find the green pendant that matches it. Inner Perception makes your heart feel lighter.
Give Bonnie Grey’s Grace. She storms off angry. You get the book entry for the Spirit Vault.
