All Strange Antiquities guides
This walkthrough covers Day 18 of Strange Antiquities, the last regular day. It solves the final Clue Card, opens the vault with the Nalean Casket and explains how to reach each ending and its achievement.
Strange Antiquities: Day 18 Walkthrough and Endings
Day 18, Sunday
Locations to visit:
- Gleaston Castle, the ground floor room below the arcane books: a new object
- Gleaston Castle, Fear in Autumn, rising in Winter: two book entries
- For the endings: The Pit (20), the giant skull in the Catacombs, or The Bleak Stones (24)
Clue Card
Hints:
- The card mentions books and scrolls on the esoteric and the arcane. This means Gleaston Castle, not Undermere.
- Visit the Library on the castle’s first floor. It has an Esoterica and Arcana section, and the story sketch shows where it is. Note that the sketch is rotated.
- The card says the object lies below those books, so look at the ground floor.
On the ground floor, look at the group of four rooms just above the Grand Hallway and click the second room from the left. You get a new object and the Tarot Reader achievement for solving every Clue Card.

The Nalean Casket
Eli White leaves a note in the upper left desk drawer. It lists three objects for the plinths: a candle that gives off no light, an anchor that has never touched the ocean and a finger that is not made of flesh. From left to right, place:
- Carrick’s Candle
- Shadow Anchor
- Witch’s Finger
Another moon door appears. Solve it as before. This time the hands point to 2, 7 and 9. You get the Nalean Casket. It has no book entry, but you can still label it.

Fear in Autumn, Rising in Winter
David Chafer brings a note from E.B. with another Bishop’s Square line. Find the symbol for Fear, three crossed lines, on the Gleaston Castle map. Place the Bishop’s Square so the Autumn hole (acorn) sits on it, then click the area under the Winter hole (snowdrop). You get the book entries for the Storm Ward and the Manus.

Barton Potter and Eli White
If you gave Barton the Babellia, he asks you to bring the casket to the giant skull at the bottom right of the Catacombs. Then Eli asks you to bring it to the Pit. These are the last visitors. Now you choose your ending.
Endings Overview
Strange Antiquities has nine endings, but only four of them come with an achievement: the endings for Eli, Barton and Audrey, plus the secret Heart of the Shop ending. Save before you choose so you can reload and see the others. For the secret ending, see the Heart of the Shop guide.
If you have not used a hint all game, the first ending you reach also gives An Ending and Master Thaumaturge.
Eli’s Ending: The Pillar of Calaris
Go to The Pit (20) on the Undermere map. You need to build the Pillar of Calaris from Eli’s notes:
- North: Sun Bond
- South: Tenebran Cloak
- West: Witherance
- East: Fortinance
- Centre: Light of Corchen

Hints:
- You have not identified the Light of Corchen yet. It is a Noctic object that seems linked to the League of the Amphisian Heart.
- Visit The Convent of the Amphisian Heart (18): its sigil is a twin-headed snake.
- Look for a bronze pendant with a twin-headed snake. Its stone is Onyx, and it produces a Noctic field on the lens.
After you place the objects, Eli asks for either the Nalean Casket or the Wyxic Cord:
- Nalean Casket: Ending I and the Pillar of Calaris achievement. This is the good ending, where almost everyone survives.
- Wyxic Cord: Ending VI.
Barton’s Ending: The Skull of Blencathra
Reload Day 18 and go to the giant skull in the Catacombs instead. Then use these objects in order:
- Give Barton the Nalean Casket.
- Use the Daedalus Link to cross the gap.
- Use the Cyrene Ward to protect yourself from the fire.
- If Rebecca Rose has joined you because you gave her the Spirit Eye on Day 5, you also need the Griss.
This leads to Ending II, a darker ending that is still a success, and the The Skull of Blencathra achievement.
Audrey’s Ending: The Bleak Stones
This ending needs the Fortinance you gave Audrey on Day 12. Reload Day 18 and go to The Bleak Stones (24). Arrange the Sacrament from Audrey’s note:
- Spring (left): Sithean Charm
- Summer (top): Sun Bond
- Autumn (right): Weaving Edge
- Winter (bottom): Vessager

You have not identified the Weaving Edge yet. Its entry says the handle is made of oak. Pick up the dagger with a gold blade and a skeleton carved into its wooden handle: Colour and Composition shows oak.
Give Audrey the Nalean Casket. Then choose the last object:
- St. Cedric’s Thunder: Ending III
- Corvan’s Might: Ending IV
Both earn The Bleak Stones. Before you move on to the epilogue, you may want to reload and finish with Ending I, so that the most characters are alive on Day 19.
