This walkthrough covers Day 15 of Strange Antiquities, including the axe and tree Clue Card, Simone Green’s gemstone note, the bone-filled alcove and Verona Green’s choice.

Strange Antiquities: Day 15 Walkthrough

Day 15, Thursday

Locations to visit:

  • The lot where Woodcutter’s Lane meets Pine Road: a new object
  • The Catacombs, the bone-filled alcove: a new object

Clue Card

Hints:

  • The card says the object lies under the barn where the axe meets the tree.
  • The axe and the tree are street names on the Undermere map.
  • Woodcutter’s Lane meets Pine Road in the upper left of the map.

Click the lot between Woodcutter’s Lane and Pine Road, right of 8 and above 9. You get a new object.

Simone Green’s Note

Simone’s note opens yet another hidden vault. It asks for a stone for dark purposes from the Individual branch, a stone of the earth from the Celestial branch and a stone of death from the Diurnal branch. You do not need the lens: match the stones to objects you already know. From left to right, place these on the plinths:

  1. Corvan’s Might (Bloodstone)
  2. Eye of Cernunnos (Jade)
  3. Holgen Grimm (Vivianite)

Solve the moon door as before: flip the clock, pull the pendulum until the moons match, flip it back, press the buttons for the hands (12, 3 and 9) and press the bottom button. You get a new object.

Customer 1: Jacob Priestly

Hints:

  • Jacob wants a Shadow Anchor. It keeps the mind from getting lost.
  • It always produces a field from the Individual branch.
  • Look for a gold object with three blue stones.

Give Jacob the gold object. Its stones are Kyanite, an anchor between body and mind, and it produces a Mentic field, which belongs to the Individual branch. You get the book entry for the Nephroquant.

Audrey Bell

Audrey tells you to keep an eye on the lake. If you gave her the Fortinance on Day 12, she also gives you a note listing the objects for the Sacrament. You need it for her ending on Day 18.

The Bone-Filled Alcove

David Chafer brings Barton’s letter about a bone-filled alcove on the upper levels of the Catacombs whose markings have worn away. It is northeast of 1511 and southeast of 1662. Click it and you are asked for a Carrick’s Candle.

Hints:

  • The Carrick’s Candle entry says a candle is shown on its surface.
  • The candle is shown with symbols, not a drawing.
  • Look at the tall yellow stone object: its top symbol is Flame and the one below is Wax.

Use the tall yellow stone object here. You get a new object.

Barton Potter

Because you gave Barton the Babellia, he arrives unable to speak. The curses booklet shows this is Tormund’s Paralysis, and the index leads to Tormund’s Bane:

Hints:

  • Tormund’s Bane is a pendant you roll along the tongue, so it has a moving part.
  • It produces a Diurnic field.
  • Look at the wooden pendant you picked up recently, with bronze parts on either side of an engraved wooden piece.

Give Barton that pendant. A Sense of Touch shows the lower bronze part spins freely. Barton tells you about the Nalean Casket. There is no book entry.

Customer 2: Verona Green

Verona arrives possessed and asks for either a Zephyrim or an Abrasive Mether. The choice does not affect achievements. The Zephyrim gives Verona a better outcome and lets her appear in Eli’s ending, while the Abrasive Mether leads to a bad ending for Eli.

  • Abrasive Mether: it is the only Mether you have not labelled yet.
  • Zephyrim: a Resonant Object with the smell of a storm. It is the blue porcelain jar with a blue eye in the middle. The Resonance Compass points to it, and Scent and Sound picks up the smell of ozone.

Give Verona your choice. You get the book entry for the Griss.

Heart of the Shop

You now have every object needed for the secret ending. You can do it now or after the other endings. Follow the Heart of the Shop secret ending guide for the steps.
