Strange Antiquities: Day 4 Walkthrough

Day 4, Sunday

Locations to visit:

  • The lot behind Locke House (7) and Keystone Manor (13): a new object
  • Gleaston Castle, ground floor: a new object and the Gemstones book

Clue Card

The card says the object was buried behind Locke and Key after a quarrel between two houses. On the Undermere map, Locke House (7) stands next to Keystone Manor (13). Click the large empty lot behind them to the south to get a new object.

Eli White

Eli stops by briefly and leaves a new object for the shop.

Customer 1: Edith Moore

Hints:

  • Edith does not name an object. She wants to beat her inner demons and change for good.
  • Look up Change in the index of Strange Artefacts. Two objects you already know appear: the Horned Shackle and the Libula.
  • Only one of them is about overcoming personal demons.

Give Edith the Horned Shackle. This request gives no book entry.

Customer 2: Francesca Robertson

Hints:

  • Francesca wants a Sleep Vessel. The entry mentions six points.
  • It stores fatigue, and the nightmares inside grow harder to hold back.
  • It is one of the two objects from the right desk drawer on Day 1.

Give Francesca the six-pointed object. Inner Perception senses darkness in it. You get the book entry for the Resonance Compass.

Customer 3: Althea O’Shea

Hints:

  • Althea wants a Silent Breath. It holds a token from a living white stag.
  • Look for a jar with something white glowing inside a blue liquid.
  • Colour and Composition shows a white hair, and Inner Perception makes the hairs on your neck stand up.

Give Althea the jar. You get the book entry for the Elva Stone.

Customer 4: Rufus Shelley

Hints:

  • Rufus wants a Daedalus Link. The useful part of the entry is the second paragraph.
  • It is surprisingly light, and its design hints at flight.
  • Two pendants fit: a bat and a raven. Put one on each side of the scales.

Give Rufus the raven pendant, which is much lighter. You get the book entry for the Cussic Purifier.

Edmund Bishop’s Note

Edmund invites you to Gleaston Castle and gives you its map, so you can now explore the castle as well as Undermere. His note leads to a room:

  1. Start at the Grand Hallway on the ground floor.
  2. Walk past the stairs and turn left.
  3. Follow the corridor to the end.
  4. Enter the first room on the left. It is in the upper left corner of the ground floor and is marked with a Thaumic symbol.

You find a new object and a surprise: a book about gemstones.
