This walkthrough covers Day 9 of Strange Horticulture, the Saturday Verona starts piecing together what the creature is. It includes the Tebay card, the Beckfoot Candle note and the plant for every customer.
Strange Horticulture: Day 9 Walkthrough
Day 9, Saturday
Locations to visit:
- F31 (overnight card): two new plants
- D12 (Beckfoot Candle note): a new plant
- B32, dead ground north-east of Tebay: Dead Man’s Fingers
Starting Card
Hints:
- Every line of the poem starts with a capital letter. Those letters are directions.
- Start at Tebay and read the poem as north, east, south, south, west, south, south.
Following the directions from Tebay ends at F31, where two new plants grow.
Customer 1: Simone Green
Hints:
- Simone will look for Long Meg in her library if you bring her a plant with red berries.
Give Simone Feverkiss.
Mailman: Beckfoot Candle
Hints:
- Put the Bryer’s Disc over Beckfoot.
- Look for the candle symbol on the disc.
Beckfoot is at G10, and the candle points to D12. Travel there for a new plant.
Customer 2: Forest Vair
Hints:
- Forest wants a plant from the Tomb of the Hunter you found through the looking glass.
- His eyes give away that he is a regular user.
Give Forest Dranthium.
Customer 3: Reuben Ward
Hints:
- Whatever he saw in the hills left Reuben with a pounding head.
Give Reuben Wild Cole.
Customer 4: Emily Constigan, Amy Sullivan or Michael Bennet
Hints:
- This visitor can change between playthroughs.
- Emily wants a plant from Red Pike, and Amy wants a mushroom for her son’s stomach.
Emily wants Common Trouse, Amy wants Bishop’s Parasol and Michael wants Sunset Mountcap.
Customer 5: Verona Green
Hints:
- Verona’s letter about the creature mentions dead ground north-east of Tebay.
Travel to B32 to collect Dead Man’s Fingers. You will need it for a choice on Day 15.
