This walkthrough covers Day 13 of Strange Horticulture, the Wednesday you decide what to give Simone and gain or miss the Elixir of Control recipe. All locations, hints and customer plants are below.
Strange Horticulture: Day 13 Walkthrough
Day 13, Wednesday
Giving Simone Lisle of Neptune instead of Palliance earns you the Elixir of Control recipe, which four of the eight endings require.
Locations to visit:
- H25 (overnight card): two new plants
- C14, source of the River Esk: a new plant
- G20, where Thora’s husband found the mushrooms: a mushroom sample
Starting Card
Hints:
- Put the Bryer’s Disc on Endmoor and follow the raven.
- Then move the disc to that new square and follow the spider.
From Endmoor (L29), the raven points to H29, and from there the spider points to H25. Travel there for two new plants.
Customer 1: Grayce Enwright
Hints:
- Grayce needs courage to face her father-in-law.
- The plant looks very much like Prittle. Compare the two carefully.
Give Grayce Daisy Dock.
Mailman: The Hidden Letter
Hints:
- The letter has a suspicious amount of empty space.
- Read the blank part through the looking glass.
The hidden text points to the source of the River Esk, just north of Bowfell. Travel to C14.
Customer 2: Thora Dunn
Thora is worried about mushrooms her husband picked. Travel to G20 to collect a sample. You identify it tomorrow.
Customer 3: Simone Green
Hints:
- Simone has mould in her library and asks for Palliance, also called Sweetbreath.
- Remember the plant Faye left with you yesterday.
Palliance solves her problem. Lisle of Neptune makes her reveal the recipe for the Elixir of Control.
Customer 4: Lorena Chapman
Hints:
- Lorena wants a plant to bring to a wedding.
Give Lorena Trimblehuff.
