This walkthrough covers Day 7 of Strange Horticulture, the Thursday you can finally switch on the strange looking glass. It includes the mountain card, the three hidden locations the lens reveals and the plant for every customer.
Strange Horticulture: Day 7 Walkthrough
Day 7, Thursday
The mailman brings a note that only says Kentmere Eye. Keep it in the drawer: it is solved on Day 8, once you learn how the Bryer’s Disc works.
Locations to visit:
- I14, five miles south of Bowfell (overnight card): a new plant
- Q30 (seen through the looking glass): Elderphinium
- B14, Tomb of the Hunter (seen through the looking glass): Dranthium
- N9, the Great Oak (seen through the looking glass): remember it for Day 11
Starting Card
Hints:
- The card shows mountain heights. You want the tallest but one, not the tallest.
- From that mountain, go five miles south.
The second tallest is Bowfell at D14. Five squares south is I14, where a new plant grows.
Customer 1: Anne Wood
Hints:
- Anne found an amulet in the coffin and wants to wake it.
- The plant has small blue flowers and a sweet scent.
Give Anne Solomon’s Sceptre.
Customer 2: Verona Green
Hints:
- Gilded Dendra was the poison. Now Verona wants a clear head.
Give Verona Maiden’s Sorrow.
Red Abony and the Looking Glass
Hints:
- You should now have the book entry for Red Abony. Find the plant on your shelves.
- Put the Red Abony into the looking glass, then slide the lens slowly across the whole map.
Hidden writing appears in three places: Elderphinium grows at Q30, the Tomb of the Hunter is at B14, and the Great Oak stands at N9. Visit Q30 and B14 for new plants, and keep the Great Oak in mind: the ritual site on Day 11 is directly south of it.
Customer 3: Reuben Ward
Hints:
- Reuben is heading into the hills at night and wants better eyesight.
Give Reuben Eyebright.
Customer 4: Forest Vair
Hints:
- Forest names the plant he wants.
Give Forest Grey Sandfire.
