This walkthrough covers Day 5 of Strange Horticulture, the Tuesday you receive the strange looking glass and may face Isidore Burbidge again. Below are all locations, hints and the plant for every customer.
Strange Horticulture: Day 5 Walkthrough
Day 5, Tuesday
If you gave Isidore Burbidge Meakdew on Day 2, today you can either wipe his memory or kill him. Killing him unlocks an achievement and has consequences after the ending, but it does not change which ending you get.
Locations to visit:
- B4, three miles east of Egremont Castle (overnight card): a new plant
- J22, source of the River Winster: a note with new directions
- L25: the strange man gives you a looking glass
Starting Card
Hints:
- Start at the abbey in the top-left corner and find the castle to its north-west.
- The husband is buried three miles east of that castle.
Egremont Castle is at B1. Three squares east brings you to B4 for a new plant.
Customer 1: Faye Swift
Hints:
- Whatever you gave her yesterday, Faye now wants something for her anxiety.
Give Faye Worryless.
Customer 2: Simone Green and the Strange Man
Hints:
- Simone wants the plant you picked on Red Pike.
- Her note says the man walked west from Sedbergh towards the source of a river.
Hand Simone the Common Trouse. Then travel to the source of the River Winster at J22. The man has left a note telling you to go two down and three right, so travel to L25. He gives you a looking glass that needs Red Abony to work.
Customer 3: Conrad Stanway
Hints:
- Conrad wants flowers to decorate his own grave.
- Count the petals: the flower you want has six.
Give Conrad Caballia.
Customer 4: The Woman in the Jade Mask
Hints:
- A masked stranger asks for the plant by name.
Give her Hopheart.
Customer 5: Verona Green
Hints:
- Verona needs Witch Phygg to help Reuben Ward.
- Witch Phygg looks almost the same as Feverkiss. Compare the colour of the berries.
Feverkiss has red berries, Witch Phygg has yellow ones. Give Verona Witch Phygg.
Customer 6: Isidore Burbidge
Hints:
- What he asks for depends on what you gave him on Day 2.
If you gave him Meakdew, he threatens to sue. Henchuck wipes his memory, while Storian drives him mad and kills him. If you gave him Butterdale, he asks for Bishop’s Parasol for a work matter instead.
