Day 14, Thursday

Who visits today depends on Day 12. If Forest Vair is alive, he needs St. Quentin’s Elixir. Ennis Aleford either warns you or, if you followed his orders, gives you the Dendrew’s Elixir recipe.

Locations to visit:

  • E11, eight miles east of Gosforth (overnight card): two new plants
  • G28 (Sadgill Chalice note): a new plant

Starting Card

Hints:

  • The tree on the card is the same as the one on the coin from your desk compartment.
  • The coin is from Gosforth. Go eight miles east from there.

From Gosforth (E3), eight squares east is E11, where two new plants grow.

Customer 1: Thora Dunn

Hints:

  • First identify yesterday’s mushroom. Look closely at the texture of the caps.
  • Then check Patterson’s Guide in the lab for its antidote.

The spongy red mushroom is Farmer’s Worry, and the guide lists Royal Gentia as the cure. Give it to Thora.

Customer 2: Forest Vair

Hints:

  • He only comes if he survived Day 12. He went after the Servant and came back badly hurt.
  • You picked up the recipe at Milton Forbes’ shop.

Brew St. Quentin’s Elixir from Daisy Dock, Candlewood and Sheepsnap and give it to him.

Mailman: Sadgill Chalice

Hints:

  • Put the Bryer’s Disc over Sadgill and find the cup.

The chalice points to G28. Travel there for a new plant.

Customer 3: Reuben Ward

Reuben gives you the book entry for Swiftsnare, one of the plants needed to fight the Servant.

Customer 4: Thaddeus Cornwall or Samuel Thomas

Hints:

  • This visitor can change between playthroughs.
  • Thaddeus is after gold, just like George Campbell.

Thaddeus wants Weeping Belle (Goldenlight). Samuel wants Palliance.

Customer 5: Ennis Aleford

If you helped Forest Vair, Ennis warns you that you will regret it. If you followed his instructions, he gives you the Dendrew’s Elixir recipe and asks you to come to the Swinside stone circle on Saturday.
