Episode 1, Level 1: Straight Outta Suburbia
Straight Outta Suburbia has 5 secrets and 10 posters. They are listed in the order you reach them, so you can follow the page from the start of the level to the end.
Poster #1: The Shovel
Leave your bedroom and the game guides you to a door you can break. Smash it and pick up the shovel, then turn around before you move on. The first poster hangs on the wall facing the shovel.
Secret #1: Dopefish
After the first tutorial you end up outside, under fire from a group of old veterans. Head into the brown house on your left.
The house is full of toilets, fifteen in total. Fourteen are inside and the last one stands outside, just to the right of the house. Pee in every one of them until each is full.
When the game tells you the sequence is complete, go back inside and find the garage. A hole has opened in the floor next to the Dopefish graffiti, and down there is a powerful launcher weapon.
Poster #2: Golden Retriever
Step back outside and look for the orange house across the street. Go round to its backyard, where a couple of dogs guard a gap in the white fence. Go through the gap and keep walking: the poster is next to a ramp that takes you back to the street.
Poster #3: Burger Boy
Out on the street you will see a burger truck with a flying fat enemy hovering near it. The poster is on the back of the truck.
Poster #4: Cat
Carry on down the street to a dark pink house with lots of cats in front of it. A cat lady lives inside. Search the house until you reach the garage, where the poster is on the wall. Petting the cats here also unlocks an achievement.
Poster #5: Straight Outta Suburbia
The orange house directly opposite the pink house holds the level poster. Walk in and check the rooms until you find it.
Secret #2: Lady Dimitrescu
Further down the street a run-down wooden barn stands in a wheat field. A large dog patrols around it, so be ready. Inside the barn you pick up the meat hook shotgun.
An old man and a dog attack you here. Deal with them and go upstairs, where the yellow key sits at the far end next to a pile of boxes. Take the key, then crouch and walk into the boxes to reach the hidden spot behind them.
Poster #6: Golden Retriever but Meaner
Return to the top of the stairs, where an opening leads out to platforms with shotgun shells on them. A thick branch blocks the way on your left. Jump around the branch to reach the poster.
Poster #7: Not-So-Smart Pistol MK420
Use the yellow key, blow up the barrels and cross into the second area. Right at the start, where people stand along a cliff edge, turn hard right towards a dark cyan house. Go through it or around it to the back garden. The poster is on the back wall of the house, near a pool guarded by angry old men.
Poster #8: Veteran
Next to the cyan house is an army green house, the one beside the wooden gallows platform with swings. Go inside and check the bedrooms: the poster is next to a bed.
Secret #3: Liquid Nitrogen
Stay in the same bedroom and open the closet. Pull the pink lever inside and a hole opens in the floor. Drop down to collect a consumable that turns your pee into liquid nitrogen, which freezes enemies.
Secret #4: Purple Portal
Follow the street past the Mr. Krotchy billboard and through the tunnel. The blue key is in the blue house on the other side, so grab it now to save a walk later.
Past the house is a junkyard with a few dogs and an old man. A purple portal waits at the back of the junkyard. Step into it and you are teleported into a house.
Poster #9: Pastel People
This poster is right in front of you as you come out of the purple portal.
Poster #10: Super Hooker Shotgun
Head back to the second area and find the black house near the cliff edge that overlooks the blue key house. You will hear heavy rock music coming from it. The shotgun poster is inside.
Secret #5: Hot Sauce
Use the blue key on the house that runs uphill. A tough group of enemies waits there, and this is where the grapple on the meat hook shotgun starts to earn its place.
Fight your way into the third area until you see a yellow house next to a cliff. Walk to the grill behind the purple umbrella and look down without stepping off. A glowing bottle of Hot Sauce sits on a toilet on a tiny island below.
Save your game first, because a miss means a long walk back. Then slide jump off the cliff and land on the island to collect the secret.
