All Murders on the Yangtze River guides
The glossary in Murders on the Yangtze River fills up as you play, and completing it is worth two achievements: Learned Sage and Traveling Scholar. Most entries come with the story. The ones people miss are hidden behind an optional look at an object or a dialogue topic you might skip.

Where each entry appears in the story is covered in the chapter walkthroughs, and the other collection achievements are in the 100% achievement guide.
