Murders on the Yangtze River has 47 achievements, 13 of them hidden. Most pop from small optional actions you can do on a normal run, but a handful only unlock if you pick the wrong answer on purpose.

How to Unlock All 47 Achievements

One careful playthrough gets you most of the way. After the credits, chapter select lets you jump back into any section for whatever you missed.

Before You Start

  • Choice-based achievements: Confident Detective, Inner Voice, Mistaken Accusation, Quick Thinker, For Friendship’s Sake and Cat’s Claws need a specific wrong answer before the correct one. Pick it when the question appears.
  • First-try achievements: Master Locksmith and Faraday’s Heir only count if you solve the puzzle without a mistake. The answers are in the lock codes and puzzle solutions guide.
  • The Detective’s Sacrifice: accuse Shen at all eight culprit questions. Each one is marked in the chapter walkthroughs.
  • Destined Endings: leave the 29 endings for after the credits; the all endings guide lists each one.
