Murders on the Yangtze River: All Endings Guide

All Murders on the Yangtze River guides

Murders on the Yangtze River has 29 endings, and nearly all of them are ways to lose. Only a few percent of players have seen every one, which is what Destined Endings asks for.

How to Get All Endings

Most of them come from running out of health at one specific question. Leave the hunt until after the credits: chapter select lets you jump to the right section, fail on purpose and reload. The numbers match the ending list in the game menu.

Tips for Destined Endings

  • Endings tied to a single wrong pick (#3, #6, #7, #8, #16, #24, #26, #28) are instant, so grab them first.
  • Several health-loss endings share a scene with the hidden Detective’s Sacrifice achievement, so you can accuse Shen at the culprit questions in the same pass.
  • If an ending does not register, finish the scene and check the ending list in the menu before moving on.

For the correct answers at each question, follow the chapter walkthroughs. The rest of the achievement list is in the 100% achievement guide.
