Hints:
- This case ties the first two together, so feel free to look back at them.
- Putra’s profiles are your list of suspects for the Spider. Rule them out one by one.
- The guard at the door is dead, so the escape went that way. Check which vehicles were available.
- The canal water rises and falls on a twelve-hour cycle. Its current level tells you the time.
- The four guards only differ by their uniforms. Use that to identify the dead one.
- The coded notes turn pictures into numbers and numbers into words.
- The basket can only carry a limited weight, the footprints show two feet, and one profile describes a wooden leg.
- Hendricks from the first case is connected to the company and fakes being drunk when it suits him. Look at the card tournament again with that in mind.
- The ink in the Spider’s journal matches the coded notes from the second case.
- The Spider was after the location of the Golden Idol. Lemurians repay a life with a life, and that debt can be paid with an object.
