Case of the Golden Idol: Case 2 Walkthrough
Case 2: The Untimely Passing of a Rural Gentleman
The extra scroll asks which of the victim’s three outfits belongs to which activity.
Words:
Study
- Blue book on the shelf: Lead, Poisoning
- Wall: Ladder
- Paper on the desk: Spontaneous, Combustion, Sebastian, Cloudsley
- Diary on the desk: Researching, Dining, Hunting
- Horse passing the window (click it): Horse
- Map on the wall: Woodshire, Crowtower, Blackfield
- Body: Wound, Head
Hints:
- The cause of death is clear. The question is how the wound happened, and there are two possible explanations.
- The diary entry is from the day before. Do not mix up yesterday’s plans with today’s.
- The map only tells the estates apart by landmarks. Look out of the window for one of them.
- Follow the blood. It starts outside the room, so the injury happened somewhere else.
