All Psycho-Sleuth guides
Psycho-Sleuth takes health away for every wrong answer in a trial, and a few choices end the game on the spot. Each chapter walkthrough covers the full investigation, every refutation and the case summary, so you can check one answer or follow along start to finish.
All Chapter Walkthroughs
The game has five chapters, each split into an investigation and a trial.

How Investigations and Trials Work
- Once you’ve reached a chapter’s trial, chapter select lets you skip straight to it.
- Your health bar tops out at 2000 and carries over from the chapter’s setup into its trial. Wrong picks in multiple choice, refutations, case summaries and other questions cost health. Too many mistakes lower your rank and can end in a game over.
- Investigations mostly come down to clicking everything. Press R to show hotspots.
- In a refutation, you pick the one false statement and present the evidence that disproves it.
- In Truth Reconstruction and Case Summary, you place cards in the order events happened, left to right. Each slot asks a question that matches a card’s picture; the cards have no text.
- Some multiple-choice answers lead straight to a bad end. A few of those bad ends are achievements.
- The game autosaves every couple of trial minigames, and you can save or load manually under System in the menu. Save by hand before and after each Judgement.
- When replaying, Control skips text and Space skips scenes (except during case summaries).
- From Chapter 2 on, the menu also holds a list of 20 Pathosyncs. There are only 13 participants, so several never come up. If someone hides their Pathosync, watch for odd behavior and compare it to the list. Even the ones who tell you theirs may not be telling the whole story.
Chapter Ranks
Your chapter rank shows up at the very end of the chapter’s results screen, which can come well after the trial ends. Fewer mistakes means a higher rank: one run finished a trial at rank A with 12 mistakes and rank B with 16. It isn’t confirmed yet whether replaying a chapter can raise its grade, so aim for S on your first run if you want the rank achievements.
