All Leaf it Alone guides
The Castle is a free DLC for Leaf it Alone, and it adds 18 achievements. Five of them come on their own as you open up new parts of the castle. The rest take a bit more effort: shooting targets with a crossbow, playing a few mini-games, and tracking down 8 hidden playing cards.
Many of the activities stay locked until you clear the leaves in a certain room, so cleaning usually comes first. Once every goal in your diary is done, the last achievement, Castle Conquered, pops and the DLC is complete.
How to Unlock All 18 Achievements in the Castle DLC
Location Achievements
These five unlock on their own as you clear areas and reach new parts of the castle.
- Castle or Museum? – Unlock the hallway area
- Parole – Unlock the courtyard area
- Bon Appétit! – Unlock the dinette area
- Carefree Corner – Unlock Love Garden area
- Your Excellency! – Unlock the throne room area
Bullseye
Description: Pass the crossbow test
The crossbow stands outside, at the top of the stairs from the courtyard. You can only use it after clearing the leaves in the “Armory.”
Pick it up and shoot at the targets. A score of 70 or higher unlocks the achievement.
Where to aim in each row:
- First row (2 targets): the yellow circle
- Second row (3 targets): the top of the red circle
- Third row (2 targets): the top of the blue circle
The 67 Club
Description: Score exactly 67 points at the shooting range
This one also uses the crossbow. Your final score has to be exactly 67, so hit:
- Yellow circle: 5 times
- Red circle: 1 time
- Blue circle: 4 times
Know your place
Description: Sort flower petals
Petal sorting opens once the “Corridor” is clear of leaves.
Go to the table covered in colorful petals, click it, and sort them into the bowls.
No Peeking!
Description: Complete a memory game
Clear every leaf in the “Dining Room” to unlock the “Memory Game.” The game is in the Dining Room too. Finish it to get the achievement.
Librarian
Description: Put all books on the bookshelf
Head to the “Library.” Six books lie on the floor there. Pick up all 6 and return them to the shelves.
Trade Master
Description: Sell a leaf bag for $10
Meet these conditions first:
- Open the “Upgrades” tab and max out “Bag Capacity” under “Hand.”
- Buy the biggest bag, which holds 800 leaves.
- Collect every leaf in these locations to raise the leaf value: Terrace, Fresco, and Shooting Range.
Once that is done, throw the bag into the trash.
Piece by piece
Description: Assemble all mosaics
Clearing the leaves in the “Library” unlocks mosaic assembly. There are three mosaics, one in each of these areas:
- Corridor
- Library
- Leaf Garden
Assemble all three:
Sisyphus
Description: Destroy a mosaic and then assemble it again
Once the mosaics are done, hit any one of them with a bag of leaves. Then put back the pieces that fell off.
A Little to the Right
Description: Solve a sliding puzzle
Clear the “Labyrinth” to unlock the sliding puzzles. They are in the Labyrinth as well. Put them together to get the achievement.
The tiles are numbered, so even players who struggle with sliding puzzles should find them easy.
Ring My Bell
Description: Hit a bell with a leaf bag
The bell in the “Armory” does not work: throwing the bag at it from the barrels gives nothing. Use the second bell, in the “Library.”
Climb onto the bookshelf in the Library and drop the bag from there. It has to be this bell and this spot. From anywhere else the bag lacks the force to swing the bell.
Here we go again…
Description: Clean up all leaves in castle
This is a story achievement. It unlocks once every leaf in the castle is gone.
Poker Hand
Description: Collect all playing cards
There are 8 cards spread across the castle locations.
Card 1: “Shop,” under the bottom shelf of the cabinet.
Card 2: “Fresco,” behind the shield, next to the squirrel.
Card 3: “Dining Room,” at the exit right before the “Stairs” location.
Card 4: “Ruins,” on one of the castle battlements (merlons); you can also spot it easily from the “Dining Room”.
Card 5: “Terrace,” near one of the castle battlements (merlons).
Card 6: “Garden of Love,” on one of the beams in the middle.
Card 7: “Leaf Garden,” on a ledge of one of the columns.
Card 8: “Throne Room,” on the threshold.
Castle Conquered
Description: Complete all objectives in castle
This unlocks after you finish every goal in your diary. If it pops when you open the door to the Throne Room area, you have completed the DLC 100%.
