Gamble With Your Friends: Solo Money Guide

The best shop items and money-making games in Gamble With Your Friends for reaching your quota solo.

Gamble With Your Friends: Solo Money Guide

Everything here works without friends. If you do have a group, you can run several of these strategies at once and grow your money faster.

Shop items worth buying

Spend your tickets on these. Each one tilts the odds in your favor.

Street Craps

Street Craps can make you unlimited money. With friends, two players can work these tables at once, which can push you past 10x your quota when done right. The trick below lets you control what your second die lands on.

The Street Craps table
  1. Place your bet and press Play. Use the minimum bet while you practice.
  2. Roll one die as normal.
  3. Subtract that die’s result from 7. The answer is your target number. For example, if the first die shows 2, your target is 5 (7 − 2 = 5).
The first die's result on the table
  1. Pick up the second die and left-click to change the number on its top face.
  1. Keep clicking until your target number is on top.
  2. Crouch and walk into the front of the table.
  3. Move right until you are pressed against the betting display.
Crouched position at the front of the table, up against the betting display
  1. Look at the corner, then slide your cursor left along the wall by about one die length.
  2. Tap Q as lightly as you can. The die lands on your target number.
Where to aim the cursor before tapping Q

It is slow, but it works almost every time, and you need no items for it to pay off. A roll only fails if you hold Q too long or aim at the wrong spot.

How gamble-maxxing works

The games below all use the same approach, called gamble-maxxing. The goal is to collect as many wins as you can, since the shop items boost every win and shrink every loss. Having just one of those items active is enough.

Slots

The slot machines

Slots look like a money sink, but each spin already earns a small profit on average. The shop items make that profit much bigger.

  1. Use one of the shop items.
  2. Set a bet on all 4 machines. Start at ¼ of the max bet, and go up one tier each time you double your money.
  3. Press Play on the two machines in front of you.
  4. Run to the other side and press Play on those two.
  5. Run back and repeat.

Most of these small bets will lose. Keep going anyway, because on average you come out ahead.

Roulette

The roulette machines

Roulette is an even-odds game. In these games you win about half the time, or the payout rises to make up for lower odds. Betting on red or black, or on even or odd, gives you just under a 50% chance to win. With the shop items active, that becomes steady profit if you keep betting nonstop, the same way as slots.

The catch is speed. There are only two machines, and the spin animation takes a while, so you place fewer bets and earn less. Starting with bigger bets makes up for it. Just keep in mind that an early losing streak could leave you broke before the wins arrive.

Duck Race

The Duck Race machines

Duck Race is another even-odds game. You win only ¼ of the time, but a win pays 4x. Over time that breaks even without items and turns a profit with them.

The low win rate makes early losing streaks more likely, so raise your bets carefully. Play both machines as often as you can. If time is short, skip this game unless you are already well above quota.

HiLo

The HiLo machines

HiLo’s odds can be manipulated, but with the shop items active there is no need. Play the machines over and over at 50/50 odds and you profit on average. It works like the other even-odds games, so once you have those down, this one is easy.

The Plinko machine

Plinko works for gamble-maxxing just like slots, except you never have to leave the machine. That also lets two players run Plinko at the same time.

This matters on floor 2. It has no Street Craps, so getting through it reliably depends on gamble-maxxing. You could drop down a floor instead, but that can make the daily challenges harder to finish.

Bonus Draw and extra tickets

A steady income gives you room to chase daily challenges and Steam achievements. Pair nonstop betting with the Bonus Draw item and you can earn a lot of extra tickets. That can be enough to buy out entire shops; two full shops have been cleared in a single run this way.

Trying other options

Plenty of other items and games work too. Some can even beat the strategies above, so they are worth testing.
