  • Press Ctrl + F and type the name of the achievement you want to jump to it.
  • Afflictions you have never taken show a red seal at the top. Use it to fill in the Codex.

Beast Achievements

  • Free as a Monkey: Win a run as the Monkey.
  • Free as a Wolf: Win a run as the Wolf.
  • Free as a Lion: Win a run as the Lion.
  • Free as a Panther: Win a run as the Panther.
  • Free as an Ibex: Win a run as the Ibex.
  • Free as a Rhino: Win a run as the Rhino.
  • Free as an Eagle: Win a run as the Eagle.
  • Pincushion: Have 10 or more projectiles stuck in you at once. Play the Rhino with the -30 damage bonus. Catch every spear thrown in the arena and dodge all other attacks. This is likely easiest solo.
  • Bestiary: Unlock every Beast. Play each one. You earn XP for the beast you used at the end of every run, and each beast needs two upgrades. Some starting beasts unlock only after you finish a run on a certain difficulty.
  • Stop Hitting Yourself: Kill an enemy with its own arm. Take the Wolf and a sharp weapon, and cut off one of the enemy’s limbs. Pick up the limb once it drops and use it to finish the enemy.
  • Fast and Furious: Stay Vigored for at least 30% of a round. Use the rank 2 Ibex, which gets endless Vigor at 25% HP. Drop to 25% HP in the first round. In the second round, kill every enemy while the endless Vigor lasts.
  • Whirling Dervish: Spin the flail nonstop for at least 10 seconds. Use the Ibex method above, or stack plenty of stamina and start spinning. Try not to hit enemies, since a shield will stop the spin.

Progress Achievements

These are cumulative or unlock as you play.

  • X: Kill 10 enemies.
  • L: Kill 50 enemies.
  • C: Kill 100 enemies.
  • D: Kill 500 enemies.
  • M: Kill 1000 enemies.
  • Trip Master: Trip 100 enemies with your chain.
  • Thumbs Down: Execute 100 enemies.
  • Ultra Damage: Land a critical backstab while in Fury. Collect sources of Fury and crit, then hit the enemy from behind.
  • No Rest Day: Train until you are exhausted. Start a run on the second difficulty and keep pressing Space until the debuffs run out.
  • Can’t Stand The Heat: Get through Carthage.
  • Out of the Cold: Get through Germania.
  • Rebel Leader: Make it to the Senate.
  • Dead Weight: Lose a body part. A surgeon shows up after Carthage. Pick the option that removes an organ.
  • Pop!: Crush an enemy with your chain.
  • Talented: Learn every skill. Take skills one at a time and compare against the Codex, which counts how many times you have taken each one.
  • Weapon Master: Get a kill with every item type. Track your progress in the Codex.
  • Test Subject: Max out every affliction. Check the Codex and take the afflictions you have never had. Some afflictions appear only in co-op.
  • Collector: Buy one of every item type from the Merchant. The Codex shows what is left.
  • Scholarly: Open every Codex entry. Read through the Codex and do whatever is still missing.

Boss Achievements

  • Stampede: Get the rhino to trample Beastmaster Barca. Bring the boss down to very low HP, then hit the rhino and aim it at him.
  • Deep Impact: Have Goliath kill an ally with his leap attack. In the second boss fight, lure an enemy into the area where Goliath lands.
  • Don’t Look Up: Have an enemy die to catapult fire during the siege. In the boss fight at the third location, leave an enemy at very low HP and pull it into the catapult’s area attack.
  • Who’s The Boss: Kill a boss within 10 seconds of your first hit on it. A crit dagger bought from the shop works well against the double boss at the third location. Strike from behind, where the damage is huge, and build up damage before the fight. The Wolf with its limb-attack passive is another option to try.
  • Clearing the Skies: Destroy the catapult before the Praefectus falls back. When the third boss fight starts, head straight for the back gates. Destroy the catapult and the ballista, then kill the boss.

Challenge Achievements

  • Two For One: Kill two or more enemies with one attack. Leave each enemy with a little HP, then finish them with one splash hit. A mace, an axe, or a shop weapon will do.
  • Fired Up: Burn for at least 10% of a round. The second location has a bonfire. Step into it to set yourself alight again and again while you kill enemies.
  • Turning the Tide: Knock down the Flail Master with his own flail. After his spinning attack, he tries to throw the flail at your face. Dodge it, pick it up, and kill him with it.
  • Untouchable: Clear Carthage without taking damage. It is easier on the first difficulty. Any Ibex helps you dodge. Kill enemies slowly and carefully. In the boss fight, clear the small enemies first and the boss last. Do not rush.
  • A Quick Escape: Win a run with less than 20 minutes spent in battle. The Lion is a good pick, since it gains bonus damage after kills. One run done this way took about 13 minutes. Take skills for damage, Fury, and anything else that speeds up kills. Shop items help too, such as the amulet that gives +100 damage dealt and +100 damage taken.
  • Moneybags: Buy out the whole Merchant stock in one visit. Do every quest and sell organs to the surgeon when you can. The Wolf and Lion money bonuses also help. If you cannot afford the current shop, skip it and wait for the next one.
  • Majority Stakeholder: Earn at least 400 coins in a run on your own, not counting your allies’ income. Let one player do every quest and sell organs to the surgeon, or take the experiments instead. In 4-player co-op, a kidney sometimes sells for 200 coins. Also try to stay the crowd leader and pick gold bonuses.
  • Stick Around: Impale an enemy on a spike wall. Spike walls appear at the second location. Knock an enemy down and throw it at a wall. If it fails, pick the enemy up and try again.
  • No Ammo? No Problem!: Kill an enemy with an empty bow. Bring the enemy to low HP, use up all your arrows, then finish it with a bow strike.
  • Fire Pro: Make a wrestler catch fire while leaping at you. The second location has runners. Lure them onto the bonfire or another fire source.
  • Entrapment: Kill an enemy by throwing it onto a spike plate. Knock the enemy down and throw it onto the spikes. Leave it at about half HP, because the throw also deals damage.
  • Destruction of Property: Break 10 or more obstacles in one round. At the first location, smash every fence and anything else you can. That should be enough.
  • Down the Line: Hit every enemy in a formation with a single attack. Use a weapon with a wide reach, such as the axe’s special attack or the obsidian sledgehammer.
  • Ultra Hydrated: Win a run drinking nothing but water. The Bear makes it easiest thanks to its HP boost, or the Rhino with reduced damage to itself. The Wolf with healing from limbs may also work, though it is possible with no special setup. The talent that heals you below 40% helps, as do the heals from the surgeon and the shop.
  • This Was A Mistake: Execute an enemy with an explosive barrel. Weaken the enemy until it can be finished off. Pick up a barrel and kill it with the TAB interaction.
  • Pay Attention: Die to something the crowd throws. On a certain difficulty, unhappy spectators throw objects at you. Let them kill you.
  • Drive By: Hit at least three enemies with one wheel. A wheel often spawns at the first location. Line the enemies up and knock down as many as you can.
  • Overtrained: Win a run after reaching level 20 with the Trainer. Level up as far as you can every time. Meat from the shop and items that grant extra XP help.
  • Medical Marvel: Win a run with afflictions worth 20 or more skulls. It pairs well with Overtrained. Avoid very high difficulties and take some affliction resistance, such as garlic.
  • Gold Medal: Hit an enemy with a weapon thrown from at least 20 metres away. Use the Eagle’s passive and throw at maximum range.
  • Formation Breaker: Trip every enemy in a formation. No easy method has been found yet.
  • Untrained: Win a run without levelling up at the Trainer.

King of the Gods

Win a run on Jupiter difficulty. Success here depends on your own skill. It was done in 2-player co-op with these beasts in mind:

  • Lion: Raises damage for the whole team.
  • Ibex: Built for Vigor. With one talent, it ignores all the annoying afflictions.
  • Eagle: Kills small enemies quickly with throws.
  • Monkey: Its starting skills give a good early boost and can shape your build.
