Every secret achievement in the game comes from six key pieces hidden around the house. Together they make three keys, each split into two halves.

  • Pieces reset: If you quit and come back through “Continue”, every piece you collected in that playthrough is lost.
  • Order: You can collect the pieces in any order. The list below follows the order they become available as you cook each dish.

Key Piece Locations

Piece 1: Buffet

This piece sits in the buffet cupboard, and you can take it before you make the first dish. It forms a key with Piece 4.

Piece 2: Cheese Shelf

Pieces 2, 3, and 4 become available during the second dish, as soon as the basement (cellar) opens. Go to the shelf with the cheese and click the box on the shelf below it. The lid opens and shows the piece. It forms a key with Piece 5.

Piece 3: Loose Brick

In the basement, look at the wall next to the large kegs for a loose brick. Click it several times until it comes out and reveals the piece. It forms a key with Piece 6.

Piece 4: Basement Stairs

This piece lies on the basement steps. You may notice it on your way back up to the kitchen. It forms a key with Piece 1.

Piece 5: Behind the Bread

During the third dish, you can move the bread in the kitchen. The piece is hidden behind it. It forms a key with Piece 2.

Piece 6: Spider and Crucifix

This piece needs the spider that shows up during the fourth dish. It forms a key with Piece 3.

  1. Open the top-left cupboard. The spider crawls out of the buffet.
  2. Click the spider. It runs off to a new spot.
  3. Follow it around the kitchen and click it each time it moves.
  4. When it lands on the crucifix beside the front door, click it again. The crucifix falls and reveals the piece, which is the handle of a key.

Letters and Secret Ending

The achievements and the secret cutscene only unlock if you find every piece, put every key in its lock, and read every letter.

  1. Insert all three keys into the locks on the dresser drawers.
  2. Open the drawers and read the three secret letters. This unlocks the three achievements tied to the letters.
  3. Finish the game. After the credits, a secret cutscene plays and the last achievement unlocks.
