Pieces 1–3

Location: Common Room (the Hub)

These three are hard to miss. They lie right under the small table that holds the half-finished puzzle.

Piece 4

Location: Common Room (the Hub)

Check the dining table. The piece sits beside the test tubes and the notebook.

Piece 5

Location: Research & Development

This is the two-story room with two cartridge slots. Later in the game, it opens into the Prototype Room.

Go into the space beneath the second floor. The piece is on a dresser to the right of the entrance.

Piece 6

Location: Research & Development

Head up to the second floor. Open the nightstand just left of the stairs to find it.

Piece 7

Location: Prototype Room

The piece is on the left ceiling fan. You need both players for this one.

  1. Ride the elevator to the first platform, or climb up with parkour.
  2. The player with the cube blocks the fan.
  3. The player with the paw takes the piece.

Piece 8

  1. Once the prototype training is done, step into the small room.
  2. Pull the lever together.
  3. Walk out through the door.
  4. Grab the piece from the table on the right side of the entrance.

Piece 9

Location: Common Room (the passage to the Hub)

  1. Use the door to the left of the piece 8 table.
  2. Go up the stairs.
  3. Look at the boxes in front of you. One has a helmet on it, and the piece is right next to it.

Piece 10

Location: the room before the funicular

  1. Climb to the second floor. The first screenshot below shows the route.
  2. Turn left. In front of the locked Control Room stands a computer, and the piece is on its case.

Piece 11

Location: Common Room (the Hub balcony)

Reach the balcony through the door on the same floor as piece 10. A computer stands on your right, with a cabinet to its left. Take the piece from the cabinet, then stay where you are.

Piece 12

Location: Common Room (the Hub balcony)

Face the Common Room and look up at the chandeliers. The final piece is on one of them. It was already collected when the screenshot was taken, but its exact spot is marked.

Reward

Finishing the puzzle does not unlock an achievement. Longtime fans of the series may still enjoy the small gift the developers left for it.
