In this mission we are asked to eliminate the Europa pilot who escaped to the Elephant Mausoleum.
The elimination mission in this game is a definite pain in the ass. Not only does the unit sometimes not appear, but more often than not, it is killed by other enemies before you even see it. This unit can appear in several locations, but I will describe the place where I personally encountered it most often. Map Elephant Mausoleum, entrance Ruins. The unit we need is called Europan Pilot, and most often on this map it appears in two places: the funnel and its surroundings to the right of the Ruins entrance (you will need to go higher).
The second place is not far from the first, a little further from the funnel there is a small path at the bottom, and on the other side there is a broken mech, Europan Pilot appears there between concrete walls (most often he is almost instantly killed there by Eurasian cyborgs).. Once the unit is eliminated, the quest is complete!
Note: It might be possible to kill the pilot, who often appears in Europan squads in Ashem Mesa, but since the mission says “Elephant Mausoleum” I didn’t try it.
