Workshop Bulk Box Rarity Guide
Discover the various bulk box variants crafted at the workshop, along with their uses and crafting details.
The 0.47 update introduced different rarities for the bulk boxes crafted at the workshop. This guide provides a brief overview of how I’ve managed to craft each rarity so far.
These findings are based on the workshop settings being set to “Tetramon Base” and “Any Rarity.” Since I don’t have all Tetramon Destiny packs yet, I haven’t been able to fully test those for this guide (but I may update it in the future).
White
The white box is the most basic and also was the only type of box you could craft before the update. The white box has no rarity and is the cheapest to sell, usually hovering around $10 market price. I consistently got the white box when I set the minimum slider to $0.01 and the maximum slider to $2.20. Any higher on the maximum slider and the workbench would typically create a yellow box.
Yellow (HG)
The yellow box (High Grade) is the second tier of box you can craft. The yellow box usually hovers around $70 market price. I consistently got the white box when I set the minimum slider to $0.01 and the maximum slider to $2.50. I believe this is the optimal maximum for this quality of box, as any higher and you could potentially be using cards that could be used in the higher rarity boxes.
Pink Box (MG)
The pink box (Master Grade) is the third tier of box you can craft. The pink box usually hovers around $120 market price. I consistently got the pink box when I set the minimum slider to $1.50 and the maximum slider to $3. I believe this is the optimal maximum for this quality of box, as any higher and you could potentially be using cards that could be used in the highest rarity box.
Red Box (PG)
The red box (Perfect Grade) is the highest tier of box you can craft. The red box usually hovers around $280 market price. I consistently got the red box when I set the minimum slider to $2 and the maximum slider to $4.
Final Words
Here are a few key takeaways:
- Setting the minimum slider to its lowest and the maximum slider to its highest always results in white boxes. The minimum amount is the most important to adjust, while the maximum can generally be more flexible.
- The listed amounts are my best estimates for optimal results. However, if you don’t have enough cards to meet the rarity you’re aiming for, you can increase the maximum amount to include higher-value cards.
IMPORTANT: This guide is most accurate when you have a large surplus of cards. As you craft more boxes, the margins for each rarity will tighten, and the optimal numbers will change.
If your card supply is low after crafting many bulk boxes, try setting the maximum slider to $5 and the minimum slider high. Gradually lower the minimum slider as you go until you’re able to craft more boxes.
