refarm: Beginner Guide – Crop layout, efficient, speedy (except fruits).
Start by purchasing a piece of land and placing it in the water. Next, buy a berry bush and plant it. Once it’s fully grown, click to harvest.
Wait a few minutes to gather gold and crops, then expand your farm by buying more land and planting additional crops. Harvests provide gold and resources, with a maximum stack size of 999 for fruits and vegetables.
The game is divided into four sections, each with unique functions and growth options:
- Home Tab: Buy land, worker huts, research barns, and totems. Prices rise as you place more items. Villager huts spawn villagers when clicked after a cooldown. Barns research with crop inventory and generate green energy—more barns mean faster research. Monuments guide your objectives once three are built.
- Fruits Tab: You can’t bulk buy fruits until they’re fully leveled up, but once maxed, you can place as many as you like. Villagers rely on fruits, so ensure plenty, or villagers will despawn. Level up fruits by harvesting once the timer expires.
- Crops Tab: Crops are available in bulk immediately and can be placed as desired. They level up through harvesting and won’t despawn after reaching max level. There are currently nine crop types.
- Decorations Tab: Use decorative items to enhance your layout. Grass plots between crops help visually organize your space, especially when zoomed out. Arrange decorations to your liking.
Map: The farm map is 80×80. Experiment with designs to optimize space and aesthetics. Check the artwork section for layout ideas.
