Old Market Simulator: 7 Rare Fish Locations
How to Find 7 Rare Fish in Old Market Simulator.
Rare Fish Map
The red lines indicate the optimal boat positions for the quickest route to each special fishing spot. The numbers represent the paddle strokes needed to reach each location. While the exact number of strokes may vary slightly depending on where your boat starts, remaining within the spawn area should still help you locate the fish.
Item | Cost | Maintenance | Details |
---|---|---|---|
Buoy | 400c | +10 | Place this item to easily mark your fishing spots. |
Boat | 4,000c | +200 | Can be moved and placed as often as needed, does not break. Items may get stuck inside or under the benches. Lift the boat to release them. If you fall into the water, swim to the boat and use the center paddles to re-enter. |

Big Fish Stand | 750c | +64 | – |
Grey Fish 1
To locate the Grey Fish, head to the large dock and stand at the back right, facing the single wooden post in the center. Position your boat directly below this post so it aligns naturally, then paddle 30 times and allow the boat to come to a full stop. At this point, you should be positioned directly over the Grey Fish.
Grey Fish 2
To find the Grey Fish, head to the piece of land extending right from the small dock and position your boat on its right side. Paddle straight for 37 strokes, then let the boat come to a full stop. From the center-right of your boat, paddle five more times and allow the boat to stop again. At this point, you should be directly over the Grey Fish.
Green Fish 1
To locate the Green Fish, go to the island’s southwest side, where two tall plants protrude from the water. Position your boat so the kelp appears on the right side, aligned through the center of the boat. Paddle 43 times and then let the boat come to a full stop. You should now be directly over the Green Fish.
Green Fish 2
To find the Green Fish, land on the rounded rock island in the East and step onto the small section at the front. Position your boat in the notch of the rocks, facing North. Paddle forward 11 times, then let the boat come to a full stop. At this point, you should be directly over the Green Fish.
Orange Roughy Location
Walk up the stairs on the large dock. At the 5th wooden post on the right, face the water. Rotate your boat once and position it directly below the post. Paddle 25 times, then let the boat come to a full stop. You should now be above the Orange Roughy.
Carp Location
Head to the piece of land jutting out to the right of the small dock. Face the island with the tower and position your boat so the rudder is inside the small plant sticking out of the water. Row straight 27 times, then let the boat come to a full stop. You should now be above the Carp.
Swordfish Location
Go to the piece of land jutting out to the right of the small dock, then head toward the rock island with a lower edge. Position your boat on the corner of the rock island near the back, facing the larger island in the distance. Row towards the larger island 30 times, then let the boat come to a complete stop.
Next, face right from your boat and row 18 times. Let the boat stop fully. Now, look off the left side and row 18 more times. Once the boat stops, you should be above the Swordfish.
Octopus Location
There is a piece of land sticking out to the right of the small dock. Go there. Place your boat on the right side of that land and row straight until you use your paddle 11 times and let the boat come to a complete stop. You should now be over the Octopus.
Shark Location
Position your boat to the right of the large dock steps. Paddle towards the rocky island in the center to your right, which has some plants sticking out of the water. Hop onto the island and place your boat at the far end on the left side. Row 25 times, then let the boat come to a complete stop. You should now be above the Shark.
