Odd Town: 100% Achievement Guide

Odd Town

Reach 100% with a simple walkthrough of every achievement and where to find each oddity in Odd Town.

Odd Town: 100% Achievement Guide

Expect spoilers throughout.

Almost nothing here can be missed, so you can work through the list during the story or after you finish it. Collecting every oddity is the only one where starting early saves a little time, and even that one stays available.

The one achievement that could slip by, in theory, is The Millionaire’s Club. To protect it, save at the end of the game while you stand on the cliff overlooking the town with the NPC, and keep that save.

First Blood

Make someone bleed

Start a fight and keep going until your opponent starts bleeding.

Dookie Nukem

Grab poop 3 times.

You can do this during the story or after it. Poop lies around on the ground, and dumpsters are a reliable place to find more. Pick it up 3 times.

Camera Shy

Smash 10 surveillance cameras.

Every camera gives off a green light, which makes them easy to spot. Destroy 10 of them. You don’t have to throw anything: stand right underneath a camera and kick it.

Projectile Regret

Throw up on someone.

You need the Vomito oddity first. Its location is under What Even Is That? below. Once you have it, make sure your health is full, then press R (or the shake key) to vomit on someone.

Mole Person

Dig 7 holes

You need a shovel. The easiest place to finish this is the graveyard, during the graveyard quest. Dig up every mound there during the quest and the count will take care of itself.

If you skip the extra mounds and dig the correct grave straight away, the other graves may get dug up automatically later. This is unconfirmed. It shouldn’t matter either way, because the graveyard also has a diggable cash spot next to an oddity.

A second cash spot sits near the Vomito oddity. The four oddities you dig up, the correct grave, and both cash spots together should guarantee the achievement, so it can’t be missed.

Nice Wallet You Got There

Shake down 10 people.

Hold R (or the shake down key) on an NPC and shake them from side to side. Do this to 10 NPCs. Try to pick moments when nobody else can see you, so you don’t get caught.

Fashion Victim

Change your shirt 15 times.

Each apartment you get comes with a few shirts. Sleeping should end a chase, which gives you a few free changes.

For a quicker method, use the Vintage Clothing shop higher up in town:

  1. While a cop is chasing you, hide behind the counter. The cop can’t reach you there.
  2. Wait until the chase ends.
  3. Buy a shirt, even with the cop standing next to you.
  4. Eventually hit the cop, then repeat.

The shopkeeper won’t attack you as long as you don’t hit them or steal from the register.

The Real Treasure Was the Brain Damage

Complete the story.

Play the main story through to the end. Save often as you get close to the ending, because one achievement there can be missed.

The Millionaire’s Club

Get your first million.

Don’t try to grind the money. This one is earned at the end of the story:

  1. Save right before the story ends.
  2. When the main antagonist asks you to bow, look down and interact with their feet.
  3. You respawn in the mansion on the hill with 1 million, and the achievement unlocks.

What Even Is That?

Find every oddity. You collected things that probably shouldn’t exist.

There are five oddities. All of them stay available after the story ends, but each one needs enough story progress to leave the first area. You’ll know you’ve reached that point when wandering too far no longer teleports you back because you “need to stay close to the car repair shop.”

Four oddities have to be dug up with a shovel, and one needs a crowbar. Once you can leave the main area, there’s a crowbar within easy reach by the Church. Keep going past the Church along the very tall wall to find a shovel.

Running man

Effect: Run a bit faster than anybody else.

One of the easiest to get once the later area opens up, and the route lets you pick up the free shovel on the way.

  1. Leave the pharmacy on Flying Snail Street, near the first repair shop, and head toward the graveyard and/or church.
  2. Keep following the road you came in on during the opening cutscene.
  3. Turn right onto a dirt path that climbs the mountain on the right side of the road.
  4. Follow it until you reach a dirt mound, then dig it up.

Sneaky

Effect: Steal and use tools without alerting NPCs (tool shop excluded).

This one needs a crowbar instead of a shovel, and it’s easy to reach.

  1. Find the dilapidated house on Pavillon Street.
  2. Break it open with the crowbar.
  3. Take the Oddity case from the hole in the floor right in front of you.

Big Smoke

Effect: Chain smoke cigarettes without hurting your lungs.

Another one that’s easy to reach.

  1. Head to the far east of town, east of Parking du bas, to the hill labeled “Lover’s Cliff.”
  2. Climb to the top, where a homeless man lives in a tent.
  3. From the tent, walk west back toward town.
  4. Dig up the mound of dirt under a tree.

Vomito

Effect: At full health, press “Shake Npc” button to vomit and deal damage.

You need this for Projectile Regret. It becomes available during or after the main story mission with Elliot, where you cut open a fence and go into the sewer. The sewer entrance is on Pavillon Street, close to where you found Sneaky.

  1. Go through the sewer and take the dirt path straight ahead.
  2. When you reach a fallen tree, walk around the right side of its base.
  3. Dig up the two mounds there. One holds cash and the other holds the oddity.

Dig both if you still need Mole Person.

Heavy Hands

Effect: Punches deal double damage.

This one becomes available during or after the main story mission that takes you into the graveyard. Stand at the entrance, look in, and dig the mound at the far left of the top row. The mound beside it has some cash.

This is the easiest point in the game to get Mole Person.
