Half-Court Hero and Free Throw
The 20-meter throw is easiest to land outside. There are two ways to do it, so use whichever works better for you.
Keep these points in mind first:
- Thrown trash doesn’t follow the arc you’d expect. It always drifts to the left of your screen, so allow for that when you aim.
- You can’t place the trash can outside, but you can drop it. While carrying it, check the button in the bottom left of the screen.
- To get trash outside of a shift, buy a coffee from the coffee stand and drink it.
- One piece of trash can be used again and again, even after it lands in the bin. Pick up the trash can and press “spill contents” to empty out whatever is inside.
Option 1: Throw from the road
- Carry the trash can outside and drop it anywhere on the road.
- Grab a piece of trash.
- Stand behind the trash can, slightly to its right.
- Point your cursor straight up at the sky.
- Charge the throw fully, release it, and run as far from the trash can as you can.
The trash may need a few tries to land in the bin, but the achievement should unlock without much trouble.
Option 2: Bounce off a wall
- Carry the trash can outside and drop it against a wall. Pick a wall that faces an area you can realistically throw from 20 meters away.
- Line up your shot, allowing for the drift to the left.
The trash will either drop straight into the can or hit the wall and fall down into it.
The achievement pop-up has shown 17 meters instead of 20, so 20 may not be the real minimum. Throws of more than 20 meters are still easy to reach, so either distance works.
Nothing But Net
- Pick up the trash can and drop it right in front of the jukebox.
- Jump onto a counter, then onto the jukebox.
- Aim down at the trash can and throw slightly past its “center,” around the bottom edge.
The trash should fall straight in.
